Chanda Rubin is an American tennis legend. A former top-10 pro tennis player, Rubin reached the semifinals at the 1996 Australian Open, the quarterfinals of the French Open three times, and had wins over some of the best players in the world including Martina Hingis and the GOAT herself, Serena Williams. A graduate of Harvard University with a concentration in Economics, Rubin is a renowned broadcaster and presenter for the Tennis Channel.
Zina Garrison is a former #4 tennis professional and a an Olympic champion. She was originally ranked the #1 junior player in the world and later became the first African-American woman since Althea Gibson to reach a Grand Slam final. She had incredible victories over such tennis greats as Monica Seles and Steffi Graf. Garrison won the Gold Medal in the 1988 Olympics as a doubles team with Pam Shriver and a Bronze Medal in singles. She is a co-founder of the Zina Garrison Tennis Academy offering young tennis players “an escape, an opportunity to learn.”
